You guys did a transmission service on my sons 2000 GMC Sierra 4×4 . Also did an oil change. We had you rented the transmission over a year and half ago and did amazing work. I have recently had two repairs done at Dirks. They went beyond their services by locating my towed vehicle which was left on the street somewhere due to an incompetent tow truck driver. Can’t Thank them enough. Office staff is great. Highly recommended this business.

My first experience with this shop was when I took my truck in for a routine transmission service. The transmission wasn’t having any problems—I was simply doing preventative maintenance. They told me the transmission needed to be rebuilt immediately and claimed it might not even make it home. They also said they had tested the battery and that it needed to be replaced. That was over 6,000 miles ago, and both the transmission and battery are still working perfectly. I later took our spare car in for what I thought would be a simple repair. They quoted me around $1,000. That estimate seemed excessive, so I took the car to another well-respected shop for a second opinion. They quoted the same repair at $500. Based on my experiences, I have little confidence in this shop’s diagnoses or estimates. I’d recommend getting a second opinion before authorizing any major repairs. In my case, it saved me a significant amount of money.

I highly recommend Dirks Automotive and Transmission! I needed a CDF drum replacement for my F150 and looked at multiple options. It is an expensive repair anywhere, and it wasn't an easy decision figuring out what to do and who to trust. After calling around to multiple shops and Ford, I settled on Dirks after talking with Drew. I am very happy I did. Drew is a solid guy, gave me a good price, a really good time estimate, and got the work done. The truck wasn't quite ready by Friday, so he picked me up at my house Saturday AM and drove me to his shop to grab my truck. Also, gave me a nice tour and we had some great conversations on the drive.

I drove a neighbor to Oroville for an appointment with a Realtor at Century 21. My car was low, really almost didn't register on dip stick. Nearest auto place in sight was Dirk's. It a short walk away. Went in and asked the beautiful young woman did they sell oil. Was originally told by a gentleman they just use it for the cars they service. Long story short...I was able to get some oil from the lovely lady and got some more from Marverick as I headed back to Sacramento. When I was younger I blew an engine before from lack of oil. Brianna at Dirk's saved my day. I let her know how much I appreciated her and she will be immensely blessed for helping me. Also appreciated her in my evening prayers. Nam Myoho Renge Kyo.

I am 82 years old. I have had the misfortune of having at least 6 auto transmissions fail. Dirk is the first to do a perfect job no complaints.. They even diagnosed a problem that Ford and others had been unable to fit. Sent me to a diesel mechanic in there town of Oroville CA. That mechanic charged me 300.00 to fix it. Best money I ever spent as it woke up my truck and made it run like new. could not be more pleased and I got more than my moneys worth. Best trans shop in my 82 years. Thank You Dirk.
